Miye Johnson Yi Partner
Miye is a Partner in the firm. Her practice areas include all aspects of community association law including general corporate matters, assessment collection litigation and covenant enforcement litigation. Miye also handles commercial and business litigation matters.
Miye was born in South Korea and grew up in Augusta, Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Miye received her J.D. degree from New York Law School where she was an executive board member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
Miye has substantial experience representing community associations throughout Georgia. She is an active member in the Georgia Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI) and currently serves on the Fundraising Committee. Miye also writes and lectures on many topics relevant to community associations including collection strategies, bankruptcies and foreclosures.
In addition to her active involvement in CAI, Miye is also a member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers as well as the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Miye also provides pro bono legal services with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, Inc.
In her spare time, Miye enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.
